Cheyenne Munson (PhD student) MS Earth Sciences | The Ohio State University | 2022 BS Professional Geology | Ohio Wesleyan University | 2020 BA General Zoology | Ohio Wesleyan University | 2020 Originally from Michigan, Cheyenne's PhD project is centered around the paleoecology of mammals, with the intention of characterizing mammal community responses to climate change, and generating paleobiological data that may be useful for informing conservation efforts in the modern day. Her work combines habitat and species distribution modeling, stable isotope analysis, and comparative morphology to investigate mammal biodiversity and community dynamics in both the Pleistocene to Modern of North America, as well as in the Cretaceous of Mongolia. |

Mikey Frunzi (MS student)
BS Geology | Rider University | 2023 Hailing from New Jersey, Mikey is an MS student researching the growth and ecology of theropod dinosaurs. To do this, he combines bone histology and geochemical analyses, particularly stable isotope analyses. A major focus of his project involves testing hypotheses of dietary changes within tyrannosaurs through ontogeny, and how co-occurring tyrannosaurs partitioned their niches. Mikey is also heavily involved in, and passionate about, scientific outreach and education projects through the Auburn University Museum of Natural History. He regularly takes part in tours, special events, school visits, and other engagement activities. |

Kyleigh Podjuban (MS student)
BS Geology | Auburn University | 2026 Kyleigh recently completed her undergraduate in the Department of Geosciences at Auburn University, and for the last couple of years she has also worked in the Cullen lab in various capacities. Among these roles, she performed an undergrad research describing and analyzing an unusual vertebrate microfossil bonebed from the Cretaceous of Alberta. In her MS thesis, she is expanding on her prior research, first performing a major update of the comparative taxonomy of the microvertebrates of the Belly River Group. Following this, she will be examining trends of functional ecology in this system, and will also be using non-traditional stable isotopes to test dietary hypotheses in several enigmatic dinosaur taxa. |
